I'm not a professional counselor or therapist. I'm simply a mom who has walked this challenging path, and through countless hours of my own therapy, have come to understand the complex mix of love, fear, confusion, wobbling faith and bruised hope you're experiencing.

I know how you feel, and I'd love to share the things I wish I'd known when our son came out.

Kim has a genuine heart for loving our LGBT kids well, the way God loves us.

I struggled navigating my child coming out and not knowing how to build trust when my child was terrified. I longed for direction and guidance in walking this road, wanting to honor God while creating a loving and safe space for my child.

I felt very alone .When I finally met another parent who was also walking this path, I felt such relief knowing I wasn't alone. Knowing my feelings were shared by someone else who understood what we were going through was very comforting.

I celebrate that Kim is offering tools and coaching for parents who, like me, needed some help from a friend who understands and knows what the tension of loving well and honoring God looks like. What a blessing and encouragement it will be for those families who are just beginning this journey. I am confident that there are many who will benefit greatly from Kim's heart to help families and honor God.
